Design Your Own Custom Tea Towel

I recently ordered some of my designs as Fat quarters , on light twill- fabric was light weight and colours were fabulous! I like to make my own T towels from the fat quarters. I am a novice with a very basic sewing machine and the twill is so much nicer to sew than the suggested materials , like dril- which is thicker and makes the corners much bulkierl. I love that Maake is now helping us to create our own tea towels but I’d love to see other lightweight cotton fabrics available for those of us that don’t have professional sewing machines. Printed in the UK-Very pleased with the brilliant vibrant quality of the print on these 100% drill sewn tea towels. Customer services were 10/10! They were very supportive and happy to answer all my questions. My art work was produced on procreate ( 500x700mm 300dpi sRgb and saved as a JPEG in my photos) . Top tip would be to use a laptop - I found it tricky on my iPad as not all the options were available and I found it a bit ‘glitchy’. Choose homewares/custom tea towels/quick buy and customise it. Choose 2D view ( this will show you exactly what the image will look like as a tea towel and you can check your image fits) click to add your image ( from photo gallery).The more you buy the cheaper the unit price. Another tip is to sign up to Maake’s emails… they regularly have 50% sales on drill fat quarters, so if ( unlike me) you can sew -you can make your own tea towels at a fraction of the cost. This is a great way to share your artwork and is always popular at artists fairs along side the original artwork. As there is no minimum order-you can easily create a one off personalised gift for someone (bear in mind P&P is an additional cost and you need to allow additional time for manufacture and dispatch, especially during a promotion). I would highly recommend this company.
